Luca “Il Gara” Garavoglia is an Italian film editor with over thirty years of experience across advertising, fashion films, documentaries, short films, trailers, and music videos.
He graduated in 1995 from the London International Film School in Covent Garden and began his career in post-production studios, later working as a senior editor on international projects. He has collaborated with high-end brands such as Versace Casa, Giorgio Armani Eyewear, Moncler, and Ferrari, editing commercials, fashion videos, and corporate films for major global productions.
From 2018 to 2025, he was the founder and a member of the editing collective The 6Tailors, a team of professionals dedicated to post-production.
He has long-standing experience with multiple editing platforms: he started his career on Avid Media Composer and continues to work with Adobe Premiere.
Luca is currently also part of the IDM Film Commission in South Tyrol, contributing as a post-production and editing specialist.
Among his recent projects are commercials for Birra Moretti, Lamborghini, a fashion film for Hugo Boss in Dubai, and a video for the Moncler fashion show, as well as corporate documentaries for luxury brands.
