Catalin Marin is an award-winning photographer based in the Middle East for over 25 years who has travelled and photographed in over 90 countries.
He specialises in architectural, hospitality, lifestyle and travel photography.
His work was featured in various international magazines, books and websites including Nikon, Fujifilm, BBC Travel, Lonely Planet, National Geographic, Time Out, Mondo*ARC and Geo Magazine.
He is a Fujifilm X-Photographer (global ambassador) since 2021 and was previously a Nikon ambassador in the Middle East and Africa from 2013 to 2021.
Recent awards and accolades include being a winner of the commercial interior photography Architecture Masterprize as well as the winner of the Architectural Photography / Exteriors in the 2022 Loop Design Awards and the winner of the People’s Choice Award in 2021. I was also a juror in the 2023 Loop Design Awards and a juror in the 2020 HIPA Awards. I have held solo exhibitions in Dubai, Sidney and Belgrade and have been part of many other group exhibitions.
