LSD Paolo Dall’Ara is an advertising photographer born into the embrace of artistic souls, my journey began as a son of creatives, surrounded by a deep passion for boundless imagination. I found solace in the strokes of brushes and the vivid hues of paint, venturing into the world of art through my father’s cherished camera—an era when film and analog reigned supreme.
Following my education in art school and IED, I ventured into the realms of graphic design and book covers, seeking to leave my mark on those captivating mediums. However, it was in the realm of post-production where my somewhat nerdy inclinations found their true home. There, I excelled, harnessing my unique traits to forge a path of excellence.
Together with LSD, we blazed a trail of innovation in the Italian advertising market, introducing artistic post-production techniques and seamlessly integrating the enchanting world of 3D. Our pioneering spirit knew no bounds, propelling us to expand our horizons far beyond our homeland.
After years of passionately crafting advertising images, an avenue emerged—a desire to portray people, delving voyeuristically into their intimate realms. The allure of capturing their essence stimulates and enthralls me, as with each click of the shutter, I fall irrevocably in love with my subjects. It is the desire to pause the chaotic world, freezing moments in time, that drives me—a thirst to immortalize the magical instances that beg to be cherished.
