Fashion photographer Matteo Felici was born in Milan, graduated in architecture at Politecnico. His interest in photography was born among the university’s books, during environmental photography lessons. He was experimenting photos of the architectures and city landscapes, clean and geometric, surreal and timeless. It’s about the study of compositions that come to life between full and empty spaces, grown on wise lines and brave contrasts. In those years Matteo discovered that with photography he can reinterpret the great classics of the architecture masters giving them a new life. All this unexpected world has fascinated and pushed him to go further in this new horizon. After completing his studies at the Policnico di Milano, he enrolled in a two-year photography course at the Italian Photography Institute where he learned the savoir-faire rules from experts from all the world.

The transition to fashion photography was a spontaneous step. He realized here his first editorials and begins to collaborate with the most important Italian and foreign models agencies in the fashion industry. Location, protagonist and outfit live in perfect balance in his shots: a game of colors where lights and shadows dictate the rules of perfect harmony. Rigor is the key word. In the last years he collaborates with various fashion brands – among, the most recent, Geox, Corneliani and Marina Militare – following events and look-books. He is now supporting Nyetimber – a English luxury winery – for events and installations in Montecarlo, on the French Riviera and in Switzerland. He has never left architecture aside and he is keeping a collaboration with various studios taking pictures of interiors and exteriors. Matteo’s latest passion is cooking, also in this area he wanted to engage making photographs for the book Ricette dal Cuore, written by a famous italian lifestyle blogger, a Gipsy in the Kitchen.
